Right now – for January and February – I’m on an art sabbatical, painting almost daily and writing essays about the barns. Every now and then, I come across a special barn, such as “George’s Giant,” a mammoth one in Henry County and one of America’s treasures. The black and white photo was taken in 1956. I did the painting in 2017. Click here for the story and I hope you enjoy it.
