This will also be an open house, displaying works of about a dozen other artists ranging from oil painters to sculptors, and will last from 5:30 to 8:30PM. I’ll arrive early to set up and begin the painting. Please come to visit, have a glass of wine and a snack, and browse or chat. The gallery, known as both The Artist’s Lounge and the Pop Revolution Gallery, is located at the corner of Main St. and Mason-Montgomery Road in old Mason. Click here for the site for directions. I hope to see you there.
I’ve also uncovered another of Ohio’s gems and finished an essay on it. It’s the only saltbox barn I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen a lot of barns. The essay is posted under barns in Knox County. It’s got a wonderful history behind it. I’m glad I got to it before it’s gone, which will happen … sooner rather than later.
Coming up on July 15 is an auction of 13 barn paintings for a fundraiser in Indiana. I’ll post the scoop on this in early July.
